US Women’s National Team Prepares for the Future

The U.S. Women’s National Team is committed to building a strong foundation for the future. They have taken proactive steps by involving collegiate athletes in their training camps with Team USA this spring and summer. This approach allows the national team members who are currently competing in pro leagues overseas to continue their development while promoting the growth of young talent.

European Champions League Quarterfinals

All 11 members of the U.S. Women’s National Team are competing in the European Champions League this year and have advanced to the quarterfinals. We celebrate their success and showcase some of their achievements:

  • Imoco Volley Conegliano, with players like Kim Hill and Chiaka Ogbogu, has reached the semifinals after a win over Allianz MTV Stuttgart.
  • VakifBank, featuring Michelle Bartsch-Hackley and Lauren Carlini, defeated Dinamo Moscow in the opening quarterfinal round match.
  • Fenerbahce, represented by Kelsey Robinson and Jordan Thompson, is set to face Igor Gorgonzola Novara in delayed matches due to the coronavirus.

Spring Training Camp and Collegians

The U.S. Women’s National Team is organizing a Spring Training Camp from March 14-21 in Anaheim. This camp will bring together 17 collegiate athletes alongside current Team USA players for a week of intensive training. To promote engagement with fans, the team will also hold a public Red-Blue intrasquad scrimmage on March 20 at Santiango Canyon College.
