USA Volleyball Education Department Launches IMPACT 2.0

The USA Volleyball Education Department is excited to announce the launch of IMPACT 2.0 for the upcoming 2023-24 season. IMPACT 2.0 is the newest version of USA Volleyball’s IMPACT training program, which is mandatory for all junior club coaches affiliated with USA Volleyball.

This updated version of IMPACT incorporates new modules that feature interactive graphics, videos, and text. These modules were created in collaboration with U.S. National Team staff, USA Volleyball National Faculty, and other sports experts. The goal was to provide coaches with enhanced training and resources that will expand their knowledge and support their success throughout the season.

Jordan Kelly, USA Volleyball’s Education Services Program Manager, expressed his enthusiasm for the improvements, stating, “An important focus for our team in updating IMPACT was to help coaches access trainings and resources that expand their toolkit and support a successful season.”

IMPACT 2.0 introduces coaches to foundational and relevant topics rooted in the five pillars of the USA Volleyball Development Model: craft, body, mind, heart, and team. In addition, this new version has been streamlined and made more user-friendly, with updated navigational features and brief knowledge checks. Coaches who complete IMPACT 2.0 will also gain free access to the Bronze tier of the Coach Academy and enjoy discounts on the Silver and Gold tiers.
