Mens Sitting Team Sets Paralympic Qualifier Roster

The U.S. Men’s Sitting Volleyball National Team has unveiled its 12-player roster for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Men’s Final Paralympic Qualification Tournament. This highly anticipated event will take place from March 16th to 21st at the University of Central Oklahoma campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Led by experienced athletes Eric Duda and Chris Seilkop, who have represented Team USA in previous Paralympic Games, the roster is packed with talent and determination. Notable players include Roderick Green, John Kremer, J Dee Marinko, Dan Regan, James Stuck, and Charlie Swearingen. Additionally, Stephen Bracken, Nicholas Dadgostar, Zach Upp, and Patrick Young are hoping to make their first appearance in the Paralympic Games.

This qualifying tournament features seven teams, including Canada, Croatia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine, and the United States. Team USA, currently ranked seventh in the world, will compete against Kazakhstan and Canada in Pool A. The matches will begin on March 16th and continue until March 18th.

The tournament schedule includes pool matches, semifinals, and the highly-anticipated gold-medal match on March 21st. All matches will be held at the UCO Wellness Center and are open to the public, with free admission.
