With a strong and consistent serving performance, which included several service runs of at least four points from different players, the U.S. team controlled the pace of the match.

Setter Lexi Shifflett from Waseca, Minnesota, led the U.S. team in Set 3 with an impressive 19-point service run, including eight aces. The team recorded a total of 20 aces to just two serve errors, putting pressure on Rwanda and causing them to struggle in their gameplay.

Head Coach Bill Hamiter ensured that playing time was evenly distributed among the 12-player roster. With every player except libero Bethany Zummo from Dublin, California scoring at least one point, the team showcased their depth and versatility.
