U.S. Women’s National Team Advances to VNL Finals with Sweep over Russia

The U.S. Women’s National Team delivered an impressive performance, sweeping Russia 25-23, 25-17, 25-18 in the final VNL preliminary round week. This victory secures their place in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League Finals, which will be held in Nanjing, China from July 3-7.

Ranked third in the world, the American team now boasts a 10-3 overall record with 30 points in the VNL. As a result of their win and Poland’s victory over Japan, Team USA has qualified for the VNL Final Six. They will finish the preliminary round no lower than sixth place, joining host country China among the top contenders.
