U.S. Women Continues Dominance in Volleyball Nations League

The U.S. Women’s National Team showcased their unwavering strength and skill as they emerged victorious in their second group at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League. The team maintained their perfect record by defeating Thailand in a thrilling match with a final score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-16) in Rimini.

The U.S. Women’s team (6-0) will now enjoy a three-day break before their much-anticipated game against Germany (2-4) on June 6th at noon PT. Notably, the U.S. Women and Turkey (5-0) are the only teams in the women’s VNL that remain unbeaten in the Preliminary Round (Turkey will face China later today).

Standout Performances by Bartsch-Hackley and Thompson

Michelle Bartsch-Hackley, the outstanding outside hitter, proved her prowess on the court as she led all scorers with an impressive 18 points, including 11 kills with a .500 hitting percentage, four aces, and three blocks. Jordan Thompson, the opposite hitter, also delivered a stellar performance, contributing 17 points with 14 kills (.480) and three blocks.
