U.S. Women Announce 30-Player Roster for FIVB Volleyball Nations League

USA Volleyball has revealed the preliminary roster for the U.S. Women’s National Team for the highly anticipated 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. This prestigious international tournament features 16 countries competing in both genders and showcases the best volleyball talent from around the world. The Volleyball Nations League comprises 15 pool play matches for each country over five consecutive weeks. Four pods, each consisting of four teams, engage in round-robin action every week. The top five teams from the preliminary round will move on to the VNL Final Six, which will take place in China from July 3-7, with the winner earning a grand prize of $1 million.

Building the Dream Team

The preliminary roster consists of 30 talented players, which will be trimmed down to 25 players by May 11. Each country has the flexibility to select 14 players from the reduced 25-player roster to participate in each preliminary week as well as the Final Six.
