Micah Christenson, the talented setter, along with his team, Zenit Kazan, are making waves in the Russian league. The team has a flawless record, winning all five of their matches and remaining unbeaten in sets as well.

  • Matt Anderson and Sir Safety Conad Perugia faced a tough test against Itas Trantino in the semifinals of the Italian SuperCup. Although Perugia lost 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-23), Anderson displayed his skills, contributing 10 points through 19 kills. He also demonstrated his versatility with 14 successful receptions.

  • Perugia bounced back with a 3-1 victory (25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17) against Gioiella Prisma Taranto on November 3. Anderson made an impact with seven kills across the first three sets, contributing seven points. He also showcased his reception skills, with a 60 percent success rate.

  • Jaeschke continued to impress for Milano, scoring 13 points in their 3-0 win (25-20, 31-29, 25-23) against Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia on November 3. He achieved a .409 hitting efficiency, with 10 kills, two blocks, and one ace. Jaeschke also displayed his receiving prowess with a 71 percent success rate.

Notable Performances in Poland’s Volleyball League

In Poland, several U.S. players showcased their talents in some exciting matches:

  • Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, led by libero Erik Shoji and middle blocker David Smith, continued their dominance in the Polish league with a 3-2 victory (24-26, 27-29, 25-23, 25-19, 15-12) over PGE Skra Bełchatów. Shoji played a crucial role in defense, receiving 31 balls with a positive reception rate of 42 percent. Unfortunately, Smith did not participate in this match.

  • T.J. DeFalco, Taylor Averill, and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn secured a convincing 3-0 win (25-16, 25-17, 25-20) against GKS Katowice on October 31. DeFalco delivered an impressive performance, contributing 13 points through seven kills, three aces, and three blocks. Averill made his presence felt with eight points, including six kills, one block, and one ace.

  • Mitch Stahl and Stal Nysa faced a tough challenge against Trefl Gdańsk on October 30, resulting in a 3-0 defeat (25-22, 25-19, 25-21). Stahl showcased his serving skills, contributing seven points with four aces, along with two kills and one block.

  • Josh Tuaniga, although not on the roster for Ślepsk Malow Suwałki’s last two matches, showed his support for the team from the sidelines.

  • Kawika Shoji and Spor Toto are currently 3-3 in Turkey’s league. They recently faced a defeat against Yeni Kızıltepe Spor Kulübü, losing 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-17). Shoji contributed four points through kills and demonstrated his setting prowess, leading his team to a .276 hitting efficiency.

  • Kyle Ensing, J.T. Hatch, Josh Ayzenberg, and Maccabi Tel Aviv currently hold an undefeated record of 3-0 in Israel’s men’s league. In their recent match against the Energiequelle Netzhoppers KW-Bestensee, they secured a 3-1 victory (25-23, 19-25, 25-19, 27-25). Patch led the team with 18 points, showcasing his attacking prowess with 17 kills. Jendryk made valuable contributions with 14 points, including nine kills, four blocks, and one ace. Kessel and West also played their part as substitutes.
