The U.S. Men’s Sitting Team showcased their skills and determination on Sunday, securing two victories in the Parapan American Games’ preliminary phase in Lima, Peru. With a 3-1 record, they are poised for success in this six-team round-robin format.

Triumph over Colombia

In their morning match, Team USA dominated Colombia with a resounding victory of 25-19, 25-18, 25-18. Chris Seilkop from Deland, Florida, contributed significantly with his five kills and four aces, amassing nine points.

Consistent performances from Charlie Swearingen from Gulfport, Mississippi, JDee Marinko from Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Bracken helped secure the victory. The team’s libero, Nicholas Dadgostar, played a crucial role in reception, handling 18 receptions with an impressive 83% positive clip.
