Fourteen Players Selected for the U.S. Women’s Roster in the 2023 Pan Am Cup

Pan Am Cup

The U.S. Women’s Volleyball team is gearing up for the highly anticipated Pan American Cup, which will take place from August 6-13 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. USA Volleyball has carefully crafted a roster of 14 talented players who will represent the country in this prestigious tournament.

Meet the Team!


The team boasts two skillful setters, Jenna Gray and Sydney Hilley. Their exceptional ability to orchestrate plays will undoubtedly contribute to the team’s success.

Outside Hitters

Logan Eggleston, Simone Lee, Brooke Nuneviller, and Sarah Wilhite Parsons will take on the responsibility of the outside hitter position. These players possess incredible attacking prowess and will be key contributors to the team’s offensive strategy. Additionally, Brooke Nuneviller will also serve as the libero when needed.


Taylor Mims and Stephanie Samedy are the team’s opposites. Their powerful hits and reliable blocking skills will provide a formidable challenge to the opposing teams.

Middle Blockers

Madeleine Gates, Serena Gray, Kayla Haneline, and Danielle Hart make up a strong group of middle blockers. Their height advantage, coupled with their agility, will be crucial in shutting down the opposing team’s attacks.

Experienced and New Faces

Some players on the roster, including Gates, Samedy, White, and Wilhite Parsons, have previously represented the U.S. Women’s team in international competitions. Coaching Staff

Leading this talented group of players is Head Coach Brad Rostratter. He brings a wealth of experience from his role as the men’s volleyball head coach at UC San Diego. Assisting him are Jonathan Charette from the Long Beach Volleyball Club and Cursty Jackson, a former national team player and current assistant coach at the University of Texas.
